The National Bereavement Service (“NBS”) and Adroit Legal Services “ALS”) are committed to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (“MSA”)and the abolition of modern slavery and human trafficking and both NBS and ALS operate a zero-approach to modern slavery being committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of its business activities and relationships.

Our recruitment processes are established to ensure that any prospective employee is legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard employees from any abuse or coercion.

We do not nor will we enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour and will look to ensure that all businesses from whom we purchase any services have introduced or plan to introduce Modern Slavery policies, commitments or equivalent statements adhering to the principles set out in the MSA.
